LONDON GALLERY

Winter 2021-2022

London modern with an old building

London is a capital currently renegotiating its identities. A strongly pro-European city, dragged out of Europe by Brexit, it is now opening up more and more to Asia and Russia, at the same time considering how best to defend the privacy of its citizens and maintain its human right protections. A city that officially preaches zero tolerance towards racism, but where the elites often remain British and white. A capital that has the ambition of being a model in the reduction of CO2 emissions, although highly polluting practices persist.

In a place full of fertile contradictions, Guna Contemporary will contribute by opening a permanent gallery, which will not only be capable of reading these transformations, but will also be a laboratory for conceiving projects in other countries.
